Is Advocate necessary to File or Represent in Courts?

    • Answer to the above is 'Not Necessary'.
    • Can we spare some time to do this is Crux.
    • Advocate engagement is only an optional choice and he is only our representative in courts.
    • In every court i.e. from lower court to Supreme court, without any advocate anyone can represent his case as 'Party-in-Person'.
    • Judges and judicial officials will give more respect and provide friendly environment to 'Party-in-Person'. In some cases, travelling expenses will be provided.
    • Even wrong quoting of provision of law won't make the case liable to be dismissed.
    • If the victim is illeterate, it is the duty of court to get his oral complaint in writing by the court officer and take cognizance.
    • If we approach the wrong jurisdiction court, it is the duty of court to direct us to proper court.
